Now It’s Spring!

Well, Spring came this past weekend – officially!  The nights are still relatively cold but warming nicely during the day.  Today was a beautiful day in the high 60′s and tomorrow is supposed to be about 80.  I added to the raspberry plants and put in some rhubarb (not my favorite but I’m thinking of others!)

The orchard is still small since this is only the second year, but the early blooms on the peach trees look nice.  The plum, apple and almond trees are all blooming – giving the bees an early spring treat!
